A quick update.

Been in such irony of emotions of late, alternating between moments of euphoria and and then of vexation. The reason, which has been revealed to some, will unfortunately not be divulged here.

Here's a quick update on life:

1. School is getting uber busy. We have 9am - 4pm days on the average, and I get home exhausted with an huge workload to complete. But I heart Patho and Immuno and MicroB and the psychotic lab tutor who terrorised me first prac lesson! Less time for iddling around, which makes me happy cause I tend to get depressed with too much time at hand. And the class committee is doing an awesome job this year, especially class rep Jeremy.

2. Will be trooping down to the University of Malaya (KL) this weekend to partake in a physio quiz. Oh the folly of the moment, what have I gotten myself into? Precious precious time burnt reviewing last year's work, and missing out on an early weekend (no school this Friday!). An enriching experience nevertheless, I hope!

3. Mr Bay has been crowned Analogy-Guru. After establishment of the Grape Theory, the great one has been busy concorting Chilli Laws and the Chocolate-Chilli Definition.

Bay-watch.

And Jing-watch.

4. Addendum to the Grape Analogy
Joey: I suppose the grapes on the other side are always greener.
Mr M.: There are many sour grapes around.
Erni: You don't know what grapes taste like. You've never had a good grape either.

5. Medfac has most unfortunately been slammed by Mr Sociology-honours-student. Many thanks to The ST for publicising the untruth of med students purchasing their clothes from pasar malams. And we are very very decently and reasonably dressed. Not the best-dressed faculty (I think this goes to the dentistry students), but I dare say not the worst either.

Our class at Operation Theatre, A Good History. And the best I could do to salvage a badly taken shot.

6. I've fallen so in love with the Butterfly Lovers' Concerto. The NUS symphonic orchestra did an awesome job for its stint at the University Cultural Hall. Their second performance at the Botanic Gardens was sorely lacking in emotions, though company was great!

Alright, bedtime. More updates another day.
