I shall not accommodate the following trend of thought. No silly excuses. It is going to work out fine.
we spend years convincing ourselves we have a fixed idea of how Mr Right/Miss Perfect should be. and when he/she does appear we then spend the next few moments that he/she isn't mr/miss what we're-looking-for. we make silly excuses, superficial ones to tell ourselves it's never going to work out. why? because we never believe that we deserve the love of someone who we love. because we always shortchange ourselves, telling ourselves we don't deserve such good fortune, such amazing good luck. why? because we were not made perfect and deny that someone so seemingly perfect could love us the way we are. does it all make sense now?
