A Short Update
Alright, it has been a long hiatus from blogging. Lest you are wondering if I am rotting somewhere beneath the ground, let this entry be some indication that I am still alive and kicking. Well, the past weeks were nothing short of a swirl of events. Medicamp was good. Games weren't fantastic but company was excellent. Am extremely grateful for friends who do not scorn at the queer ideas I formulate. Yes yes, that includes the unsuccessful ploy to explore the TTSH mortuary. (But I most definitely do not desire to become a forensic pathologist. Please get this straight, whoever is spreading the word.) Flag was one great bonding session, made hilarious by butt-slapping young children at Bendemeer Primary and cardboard cars crossing the road (e.g. Ningyi). It was a pity we lost the rag presentation event. But it was probably great fun preparing for it anyway. The candy house and the gingerbread people were close to perfect, and the story took a magical fairy-tale approach with its good triumph over evil theme. Sad to say, a few of us actually missed the presentation because we were too caught up playing cards in a much too comfortable room. My sincere apologies! ! Anyway, we rounded up the week of fun with a barbecue yesterday, together with some engaging conversations about haunted houses and green tea vodka. So now I suppose it is time to start mugging. Mug. Mug. Mug. Mug. Mug. =(
