It is a wonder how easily I fall head over tails for those close to perfection, though ironically, these are rare occurrences. A majority of the male species are nowhere close to being perfect, and no, looks are no deciding criteria in my assessment. I have to admit that I do spend a sizeable portion of my time conversing with the gentlemen. They are more straight-to-the point, they offer a different perspective and they speak of more captivating issues than the ladies do. More importantly, these casual conversations allow me to better assess their characters. Few men on their own have the ability to set my heart racing. Those who possess intellect, humour, honesty, integrity, patience, resolution and wit have managed it, but they are rare and far in between. In fact, I've only met 2 of them in the whole of my 18 years of life. And they never quite did develop beyond friendship, unfortunately. So now, I'm crossing my fingers and praying that I wouldn't fall prey to any of those notorious guys famed for their sweet-talking skills. And hopefully when Mr Right comes along, it'll work out just fine.
