The princess, a rare gem
of the magical kingdom
winched, in
utmost disgust and fright.

The slimy skin awaited,
glittering and shimmering,
for all it's worth
under the morning light.

Her smile faded,
the poutest, the most beautiful,
and the most sought-after,
the lips trembled.

But nothing could be done,
for she owed the frog,
her maiden kiss,
for the sake
of her golden ball.

The frog looked on,
rather pleased.

Then the princess screamed.

The maiden spoke at 10:42 PM
